The Lazy CK Ranch may be the premier hunting ranch in Texas, but what if not everyone in your party feels comfortable with a rifle in their hands? At the Lazy CK Ranch, we genuinely love the thrill of the hunt. But we also like to relax. That’s why we offer much more to do than participate in a trophy hunt. We invite you to get outdoors and enjoy the complete Texas Hill Country experience, either by hiking and exploring our 7,000 acres or simply kicking back inside a cozy cabin or lodge — one that nevertheless features all of the comforts and amenities of a fine hotel. We maintain four lodges, five cabins and even three rustic, old-fashioned bunkhouses in which to relax, and all lodges come equipped with private baths and individual air conditioning units for additional comfort.

There are warm, cozy spots to curl up with a good book or a tablet — we offer high-speed WiFi — or to watch sports on a big screen TV in one of our bars or game rooms. Or how about a game of billiards or a round of cards? And, of course, there’s always a hot “Hill Country Delightful” meal waiting for you in the dining hall.

There is a lot to see and do at the Lazy CK Ranch, especially if you’re not shy about getting in the water. For the fisher in your group, know that we’re located near the headwaters of the Frio, Nueces and Guadalupe Rivers and that we provide guests with access to a four-acre lake stocked with bass. There are rifle and pistol ranges and a shotgun clay target course for those who just want to pop off a few rounds or improve their aim.
