Our Texas hunting lodge offers dozens of activities for entertainment and relaxation while you visit us at the Ranch. Whether you are visiting for a vacation or a hunt, there are boundless opportunities for you to enjoy the beautifully lush Texas hill country.
650 Yard Shooting Range
If you are into testing your skills we have a 650-yard rifle range. Each of our targets are outfitted with WiFi cameras and monitors so that you can view your shot placement with ease. A solitary road down the center of the range allows for quick placement and retrieval of shooting targets. Pistols are also welcome on our rifle range for close-quarters target practice. A picnic table and bleachers accompany the back of the shooting stand for a safe viewing opportunity for additional guests or family. An elevated blind is available for guests who would like to shoot long-distance shots from an elevated position. A guide must be present at all times on the shooting range. Strict safety protocols will always be in effect.
Shooting Sports
The Texas hill country is a breathtaking landscape. Outdoor activities are in abundance! We proudly recommend our guests try out our one-of-a-kind wobble trap and five-stand. Our Wobble trap will test your ability to successfully shoot clay pigeons at extreme angles. The shooter is often unsuspecting as to which direction the clay pigeon will fly and your target acquisition must be quick! Our five stand keeps the shooter guessing, as 5 individual clay pigeon throwers send clay pigeons in the line of fire from different directions. The shooter must exercise split-second target acquisition and properly follow-through in order to knab all five clays successfully. These are both perfect exercises for group events.
Five Acre Bass Pond
Enjoy our serene five-acre bass pond. Nestled among the trees of our Texas hill country, this quaint bass pond offers a prime representation of Texas bass fishing. Stocked and managed for growth our fishing offers an afternoon or morning filled with fighting action! During your time at the pond, guests can watch Pere David’s deer feeding in the shallows or whitetail deer bedding in the afternoon shade. The pond is located just a short distance from the main headquarters lodge, our guests are welcome to walk or for a fun adventure take our QuietKat E-bikes for a spin.
Full-Size Swimming Pool and Hot Tub
Our full-size swimming pool brings that refreshing oasis to our guests! Cool off in the afternoon Texas sun after your morning hunt, or spend the day poolside with your family as you wait for our authentic smoked Texas BBQ. Our pool and hot tub are located next to the main lodge and our private cabins, so drinks or a change of clothes are only a few steps away. During the evening guests can take a dip in our hot tub for a relaxing end to their day.
